3a3f68e6-20ab-4c48-9693-3ca61c4f8551sunset-space-pacific-ocean-thumbTonight January 11th 2009, on the Atheist and Theist Radio Hour, Phil and I discuss the question; Did God create man or did man create God?  This should be fun.  We both have strong opinions on the subject, but as usual, we will try to keep the tone of the show conversational, not contentious. If you’ve listened to our previous shows, we would love to have you back. If you haven’t and you would like to know what it’s about, you can follow the link to our show and download (for free) our archived episodes.  Tonight’s live episode begins  at 11pmET and the chat room will be open at 10:30.  See you there.

Hi, and thank you for your comment on my blog. Yes, I agree with you to a certain extent since the existence of God can never be established through scientific methods. I do believe that belief in God can be a positive thing, especially when one lacks belief and is struggling in life, that person can go to religion and tap on the power of knowledge enshrined in many books. However, if that person is strong enough and has a clear mind and conscience, religion may not be as important.

Bear in mind though, that many conservative people (especially in Malaysia) view Atheism as a religion related to Satan, a view which i personally do not agree with.

  2. Dude! Great Show! I still love you, even though you totally set me up and did the whole Horus thingy. I forgive you. BTW, I am so totally going to pray for you! I look forward to our next show.
